The City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs has officially announced the full schedule for the 48th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival, returning to Piedmont Park over Memorial Day Weekend, from Saturday, May 24, through Monday, May 26, 2025. Widely regarded as one of the largest free jazz festivals in the country, the event is presented by Design Essentials and promises three days of world-class music, culture, and community from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.
“We have a fabulous lineup of musicians performing at the 48th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival,” said Adriane Jefferson, Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. “We’re presenting international, national, and local artists who will perform a wide variety of music—from traditional, swing, big band, to contemporary jazz—so there’s something for every jazz lover. Make plans to join us.”
The Atlanta Jazz Festival, produced by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, is dedicated to educating and entertaining a diverse audience of jazz fans and supporting the next generation of jazz musicians. This year’s Atlanta Jazz Festival is made possible by generous sponsors including Design Essentials, Publix, Crown Royal, Teremana Tequila, Chick-fil-A, PNC Bank, Centennial Yards, Chevrolet, Tito’s Vodka, Fontis, MARTA, and the Atlanta Falcons.
PRE-FESTIVAL CONCERT:
The festivities kick off on Friday, May 23, with a special pre-festival concert at Atlanta Symphony Hall featuring GRAMMY-winning pianist Robert Glasper and vocalist Baby Rose. The concert begins at 8 PM and tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster at noon on March 28. More details.

THE JAZZ SPOT: Upgrade your experience with reserved tent seating. Details available on the festival website. PARK RULES: No pets, no glass containers, no grilling, and no tent staking allowed.
GETTING THERE: Festivalgoers are encouraged to bike and use the free bike valet on 10th Street or take public transit via MARTA. No neighborhood parking is allowed.
